Glimmering thoughts in open minds
Capturing within our hearts the world
Across the street or far reaching
When meeting in this place
Visions of possibilities
Go dancing through my brain
Together we reflect many sides
Each holding a trust
Within our realms

With so many things
Within our reach
I'll hold this time
To my heart
To sustain me
On the long roads
And build piece by piece
Thoughts, once random
Into something
That changes the places
We dwell within.

Pack the blues away

Blues of days to come
Tease with promise
Now packed away
Encased behind grey
Only sight seen
Was a glimpse
For a day

Sitting here waiting
At the beginning
Of another day
The light is mellow
The air is chilled
Dwelling on promises
Of days of blues

Seen

Eyes glance away

If sight unseen
Our world is filled
With rainbows
Happy ever after scenes

Point out
The hidden
Lift up
Move and draw
Eyes
Opening
To worlds
Now seen

Raw

Emotions sit upon me
Gulp, gasp
Spinning, sinking
Inhaling each motion
Float with a tide
Rushing over my mind
Make me still
Numb, overwhelmed
Movement, raw
Falling into depths
Dark corners
Hidden thoughts
Building up
Breath, see
Turn away...

I hear their memories,
Calling!
Wafting across fields.
Floating.
Singing their final lullaby -
Weeping:
A harmony of voices,
Haunting...

Whispers drift over fields,
Calling!
Threads of their memories.
Floating.
Visions always lingering -
Weeping:
Staining the fallen leaves,
Haunting...

Plunging in

Plunging in under the waves

Looking at a salty world

Filled with life -

With a flick and twist

It streams by

Breaking the surface

Gasping, eyes stinging

Staring down the waves

Their pressure beats and pushes

Until reaching beyond the break

Lying back, stretched out

Drifting along the surface

Gently moving up and down

With the motion of the tide

Sounds muffled

The world is the sky

Sun beating, clouds floating

Nestled softly in a watery embrace

Then plunging in under the waves

Pattern

Pattern, originally uploaded by behind.dreaming.

I created images that would fit some of the poems I wrote about different friends. This ended up being a series that have become my screen saver at work. I have not felt the need to put up a different screen saver since. Over the next month I will post each one - though I have posted some of these before. This hopefully will help me focus on creating more.
