Breathing ~ Sounds

Inhaling ~ Words

Music flowing

Hovering

Moving

Inside air

Words form

Echoing

Beating

Rhythm

Music played

Merging

Reviving

The soul

Music played in the main building at the Dunedin Orokonui Ecosanctuary sounds extraordinary. Both Ariana Tikao and previously Delgirl both sounded fantastic within this space.

Moves

Close me eyes
Let the moment
Capture me

Hear the tune
Flow through
My skin

Upon the music
I move
I sway
I become alive

Taste the heat
Of our rhythm
Pulsing through

I exhale, pause
Then it begins
Again and again

Feel everything
When the world
Finds its moves

Roller Coaster Ride

Let me lose myself in this dance
Let a song take me to a place
Where rhythm is my drug of choice

The music takes me on a roller coaster ride
Easing me into a spiralling sensation of sound and song
Tapping out a groove that leaves me
Swinging long after the tune fades
And the next song takes flight.

Let the music take you

Rhythm soothes the soul
Letting one drift
Along a river of sound
That cleanses the mind

With the sound
I let myself go
Flowing away
As the current rushes out

The beat
Feel the beat
With its rhythm
I drum my fingers
I tap my feet
With the sounds
My soul
Lives

Let the music take you
On a journey of the mind
Let your fingers
Your voice and breath
Create a life of its own
Is the song from within
Or is the sounds of song
Shaped from another soul

Let the music take you
From the place where you are
To where all that surrounds
Drifts away in a haze
And clarity of vision
Allows you to see
The world through the sounds of song
