What inspires one to write? For me it is an irresistible urge to assemble words together that results in the creation of imagery that I experience when I look at the world around me. I can not remember a time that I was not writing, especially poetry. To write a poem is to use the fewest words to create a glimpse into a new world or perspective.

Reflection
In the harshest words Reflected is more who spoke Than who is described.
I responded to Ian directly about this even though I knew I would also post an answer to the question: it has just taken me a while to post it :-). I have a Creative Commons licences on my poems. When Ian posted this comment it was a single licence for all the blog contents. I have since applied a licence to each post, as my blog contains a few poems that I want to know if someone else creates or wants to create something from them. To read more about the Creative Commons go to my other blog http://behind-dreaming.blogspot.com/ and read the posts on Creative Commons I have there.

Perfect. May I print this one out and put it on my classroom wall?
