What inspires one to write? For me it is an irresistible urge to assemble words together that results in the creation of imagery that I experience when I look at the world around me. I can not remember a time that I was not writing, especially poetry. To write a poem is to use the fewest words to create a glimpse into a new world or perspective.

Waves in the wind
Walking the promenade
Wind blows Blasting specks Swirling needles
Lines broken With tracks of white Greeny blues to Shadows reaching Breaking the surface
