Plunging in

Plunging in under the waves

Looking at a salty world

Filled with life -

With a flick and twist

It streams by

Breaking the surface

Gasping, eyes stinging

Staring down the waves

Their pressure beats and pushes

Until reaching beyond the break

Lying back, stretched out

Drifting along the surface

Gently moving up and down

With the motion of the tide

Sounds muffled

The world is the sky

Sun beating, clouds floating

Nestled softly in a watery embrace

Then plunging in under the waves

Pattern

I created images that would fit some of the poems I wrote about different friends. This ended up being a series that have become my screen saver at work. I have not felt the need to put up a different screen saver since. Over the next month I will post each one - though I have posted some of these before. This hopefully will help me focus on creating more.
