Means tears; sadness; loss;
What often can be missed
Are new beginnings
It creates for those
Going their separate ways.
Goodbye can become
A time when
Life can take one
To places that may have never
Been imagined before
Saying Goodbye
Is not a final farewell
It is an occasion
Where different paths
Are taken:
Different journeys
Are forged.
Though goodbyes
Can be tinged with sadness,
The chance
That one shall meet again
Means there is the possibility
Of future opportunities
To share the tales
Of each person’s life
As it unfolds.

Just a guess - this must be close to first draft, isn't it?
I'll try to keep all this in mind in a few weeks' time :/
"No Sadness in Goodbye" has the characteristic optimism of your other poetry, and I can agree with and share the sentiment ... but I wonder if it doesn't sell the sadness of parting a little short? It's a difficult balance to strike, though, and given the sense you're trying to create I think you've probably erred on the right side.
